Fortimel FortiCare Sensations 2,4 kcal convient aux patients présentant une cachexie tumorale avérée ou à risque.
L’ESPEN (European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism) recommande la supplémentation en acides gras oméga-3 dans le cadre de la thérapie nutritionnelle chez les patients oncologiques afin d’améliorer : le poids corporel, la masse corporelle maigre, l’appétit et la qualité de vie (Arends et al., 2017).
L’étude de Sánchez-Lara et al. a démontré que l’enrichissement d’un supplément nutritif oral en acides gras oméga-3 peut réduire les médiateurs de l’inflammation (diminution du taux de CRP) et améliorer la qualité de vie (Sánchez-Lara et al., 2014).
